Living with Illness and Psycho-Spiritual Care

Living with Illness, Grief & Caregiving

Compassionate psychotherapy through life’s most difficult seasons

Living with a chronic or serious illness can affect every aspect of your life. Alongside physical symptoms, you may experience uncertainty, grief, anxiety, changes in identity, or questions about what lies ahead. Caregivers often carry their own emotional burdens while supporting someone they love.

Psychotherapy offers a safe and supportive space to explore these experiences, develop coping strategies, and find meaning during times of change.

Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and psycho-spiritual care, I work with individuals and caregivers facing the emotional, relational, and existential impact of illness. Whether you’re adjusting to a new diagnosis, living with a chronic condition, navigating palliative care, grieving a loss, or supporting a loved one, you don’t have to face it alone.

Therapy May Help You

  • Adjust to a new diagnosis or ongoing illness
  • Cope with uncertainty and changing circumstances
  • Process grief, loss, and anticipatory grief
  • Manage caregiver stress and burnout
  • Explore questions of meaning, identity, hope, and purpose
  • Navigate major life transitions
    Strengthen resilience and emotional well-being

Faith and spirituality can be thoughtfully integrated into therapy if they are important to you. You do not need to identify with any particular faith or spiritual tradition to benefit from this work.
