Klara Siber-Simic, MDiv, MHSc, RP Registered Psychotherapist Certified Supervisor Educator (CASC/ACSS)
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist and Spiritual Care Practitioner with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s most vulnerable moments. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens when we care for the whole person—emotionally, mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually—with deep respect for each person’s unique story and identity.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling from Tyndale Seminary and a Master’s in Health Sciences from the University of Toronto. My professional journey has taken me through diverse healthcare and spiritual care settings, deepening my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the transformative power of compassionate presence.
I live and practice on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, within the lands protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement. As a settler to Canada of Hungarian and German descent, born in the former Yugoslavia, I acknowledge this land with gratitude and respect. I honour the enduring presence, wisdom, and healing traditions of Indigenous peoples, including those rooted in community, relationship, and the natural world. I remain committed to ongoing reflection, education, and responsibility in the spirit of reconciliation and healing.
My Approach
In therapy, I focus on creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard. I recognize that trauma—both personal and collective—can profoundly shape how we experience the world, our relationships, and ourselves. I aim to meet every client with empathy, humility, and presence.
I value collaboration. Good therapy is a partnership, and while I may not be the right therapist for everyone, I might be the right one for you. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, clarify your goals, and work toward resilience, integration, and meaningful growth.
I’m also deeply committed to inclusive, affirming care, with particular sensitivity to the intersections of identity—including culture, race, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, and spiritual beliefs. I practice from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed framework that honours lived experience and challenges systems of inequality that impact mental health and well-being.
Where and How I Work
I’m based in Hamilton, Ontario, where the natural beauty of local trails and Lake Ontario inspires part of my practice. In addition to in-office and online sessions, I offer walk-and-talk therapy, which brings the therapeutic process into outdoor spaces to support healing through movement and nature.
Therapy sessions are available in three formats:
- In-person (office-based in Hamilton)
- Online (secure virtual sessions across Ontario)
- Outdoors (walk-and-talk therapy in natural Hamilton settings)
