Rates, Cancelations and Insurance Information
Rates
$ 150.00 per session (60 minutes)
Cheque, cash, credit, or Interac e-transfer payments are accepted. Official receipts which include my registration number, are issued for all sessions.
Insurance
Insurance coverage for psychotherapy may be available for your sessions. Please check with your insurance company if coverage is available and how to file a claim. We do not provide direct billing. A receipt will be provided to you for filing your claim.
Fee for Letters Requested by Insurance or Other Parties
At Steps to Heal, we are committed to supporting you on your healing journey. We understand that sometimes you may need letters for insurance companies, employers, or other third parties.
Please note: Preparing these letters requires thoughtful writing and careful review of your therapy records. Therefore, a $50 fee applies for the preparation of such letters.
Common types of letters requested include:
- Verification of psychotherapy care and treatment
- Statements about assessment and progress
- Insurance coverage or appeal letters
- Work accommodations or disability documentation
- Therapy summaries or treatment plans
Simple appointment confirmations and receipts are provided free of charge.
Your privacy is our priority. No information will be shared without your consent, and you will have the opportunity to review any letter before it is sent.

Cancelation Policy
Please note that once you have booked an appointment, I have reserved time in my schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will be subject to a late cancelation fee $75.
To avoid a late cancellation fee, please provide cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
If you don’t show up and don’t cancel your appointment, you are charged a full fee.
You can cancel or reschedule an appointment by emailing klara@stepstoheal.ca or calling our office at 647-699-1987.
If I need to cancel your appointments and do so in less than 24 hours, you will receive 75$ advance toward your next session.
Cancellation Fees are waived in the event of an emergency such as illness. Please call as soon as you can to inform me.
